It all started with an invitation for Cie Greffe to set up at Pavillon ADC for three weeks, in order to recycle existing choreographic elements rather than creating new ones. The result was Occupation / Frayage topologique, early 2022.
Cindy van Acker brings together her creative companions and all kinds of materials produced over the years: set designs, scores, music, dances, etc. The residency is regularly open to the public for original, transdisciplinary, performative events, with meals prepared by the company and offered free of charge. The Pavillon becomes a thriving place of creation, discussion and research, both choreographic and political, fostering reflection on the conditions of artistic production and encounters with the audience.
Also invited was playwright and author Michèle Pralong, who decided to jot down as much as possible of what she heard during this residency. She then reworked all these oral snippets and arranged them in a montage entitled je cherche mes clés je trouve des loukoums.
